Their outdoor ceremony felt heartfelt and joyful from start to finish. One of my favorite moment was the petal toss after they said "I do".
As they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife, guests showered them in petals, creating the dreamiest celebratory exit. It added movement, color, and so much life to their ceremony photos. Moments like that are why I always encourage couples to think about how their ceremony exit will photograph.
They hosted a longer cocktail hour, which gave guests plenty of time to enjoy and connect, and gave me the perfect opportunity to capture authentic candids. When couples build breathing room into their timeline, the entire day feels more relaxed. That relaxed energy translates beautifully into photos.
The bridesmaids, groomsmen, and guests brought incredible energy all day long. It was a big wedding, but it never felt chaotic. Everything flowed effortlessly just as they intentionally planned.
Sunset showed up in the best way for the Burke wedding at The Pines Davenport. Golden light filtered through the trees and wrapped around them in the most flattering, romantic glow.
Golden hour portraits always elevate a wedding gallery, and this day was no exception. Because we built time for them, we didn’t have to rush. We simply stepped away for a few quiet moments and created magic.
The reception was packed with energy from the moment it began. Guests filled the dance floor, laughter echoed throughout the space, and the celebration never slowed down.
There may or may not have been a wild flash moment on the dance floor, the kind that perfectly captures how fun and carefree the night became. Whether it makes the journal or not, it absolutely lives rent-free in my mind as one of the most iconic reception moments.
The reception space for this Burke wedding at The Pines Davenport looked absolutely stunning. Thoughtful details filled the room, romantic candlelight, beautiful florals, and carefully styled tables that felt elevated yet inviting. Every design choice reflected their personalities while still complementing the natural charm of The Pines.
Guests immediately gravitated toward the vintage film booth, and it quickly became one of the biggest hits of the night. The retro-style photo booth gave everyone a fun, nostalgic experience while producing timeless keepsakes. Throughout the evening, friends gathered, laughed, and snapped strip after strip of film photos. It added an interactive element to the reception and created even more candid moments that perfectly captured the energy of the celebration.
Between the intentional reception design and the constant buzz around the vintage film booth, the entire evening felt lively, warm, and unforgettable.
